About
He is the story's last beat and he never appears. The customer who knocks on Thomas's door at the card night was sent by him: "Rafi on trade side said you find material." Twenty-four days after arriving with no customers, Thomas Keene has been described to a stranger by a third party, in one clause, accurately. That is the whole of the ending — the story is called Forwarding Address and he never set one.
