About
Flies the lander, the boats and whatever else the ship has. Her mission function is insertion and extraction — the person who has to go back for people, or say she cannot. Boarding and surface action on Kestrel are done by the people whose trade it already is; there is no marine detachment and there never will be (cast spine; macro L-14).
How they speak
Fast, clipped in the air and garrulous on the ground. Narrates her own approach out loud and is unaware she does it.
