One of the two corrected in the reading (with Marrit). The second bend in the roll's procedure, and the one that states the principle: a person with two names on two documents is one person, and separating them is how somebody becomes two people or nobody.
How they speak
Patient, then precise. Waits out a wrong reading rather than interrupting it. Argues the principle once, completely, and stops. No bitterness about the lost ground and no account of how it was lost.
