About
A hard-line Nhál of the containment stance (factions bible (d)). Not cartoon-evil — a too-old version of us, certain it knows better. Treats Imeth like an elder reprimanding a younger relative who has "gone native." Speaks in the register of grief and certainty — cold, intimate, frightening. His load-bearing Book 3 act: he reads a Nhál-only risk interpretation of the Causeway approach (a natural hazard only the Nhál can parse) and withholds it, because giving it would let the humans compensate and keep expanding — he wants the expedition to stall and lose confidence. Death is an accepted consequence of containment, not his goal: cold logic, not murder, not terror.
